Lilypad is slow and steady, and likes to take his time. He keeps is eyes on what’s in front of him, so he knows exactly where to hop. He can hop far and fast if something startles him, but that doesn’t happen very often.
Lilypad lives in the pond close by. He likes swimming and being wet, and he likes new things too, although he will think about them for a good long while until he is certain about them. Not too many things will get him excited, but flies do, and he does like to kick up his heels and dance when he’s very happy!
He always has a sensible and encouraging thing to say if his friends are feeling down, and his friends like just being around him. He makes them feel that everything will be OK.
